Nope, as far as I'm concerned there are no bad dogs.....just bad owners. If you met this pit bull on the street, you'd soon realize that the bad rap that Pit Bulls have is not true at all. People have come up to the car because people are totally surprised about her attitude and asked me "Is this a Pit Bull?" I always say "Yes, and she's here to give Pit Bulls a Good Name".

Pit Bulls were never breed to bite humans and if a Pit Bull did bite a human, they were immediately put down. Handlers had to be in the ring when the dogs fought to make sure that the dogs didn't die so biting a human was a no no!!

Madussa is a pure breed Pit Bull and there is not a mean bone in her body. My son and all of his friends bought a entire litter of Pit Bulls together. My son loves to party and therefore he was continually leaving Madussa either at someone's house or here at my home for days. I continually tried to get him to be more responsible, but when I realized he wasn't going to be, then I decided to keep the dog. At first the dog was given to Kris who is somewhat unresponsible as well. He wouldn't walk her and Pit Bulls need lots of action.

When my step daughter, Jessica moved in with us, it was decided that the dog would be hers. This has worked out very well for both Madussa and Jessica. Jessica has this special way with dogs, cats and I think any animal that walks or crawls. Jessica is responsible and walks Madussa twice a day as well as giving her a run. Although I feed Madussa and let her out all day, it is quite evident that Madussa adores Jessica. When Jessica leaves for school, Madussa is sitting right there with a sad face....but then she runs up into Jessica's room, grabs her pillow and sleeps on it all day.

A few nights I have chuckled to myself when looking in on them. Madussa and Jessica's face both on the pillow and both of them stretched out on the bed. How they can both sleep on a single is a wonder but Madussa never complains and neither does Jessica. Jessica is 12 years old and she can pretty well get Madussa to do most things. She can even handle her on a lease which is a big thing since normally Madussa pulls everyone else (including me) and it takes everything to keep up with her.
