Moo and Lucky

This is a not a great picture but that is due to my new scanner. Not sure if it's me or the scanner because my old one worked so much better.

These two wonderful cats were adopted by my daughter. Each of them was found, in winter, totally dehydrated and almost near death. So my lovely daughter, Jennifer decided to make a difference and to adopt them.

Well, my daughter is a "chip off the old block" and I can't be upset with her because this is somehting I used to do.

These two cats are amazing though. They are definitely not as well behaved as my cats were, but they do each have a personality that only a mother could love - and that mother is "Jennifer" to them.

Lucky II got her name as she was found in the same manner as my original Lucky. Jennifer found her in our parking garage, during winter, where the cat had been living under cars for protection. She first brought food out to her (Warrior Poet's Tuna) LOL!! Guess she forgot the BIG RULE. "If you feed a cat and they are yours for Life".

Well, the cat immediately decided that Jennifer was it's mother and followed her home. She then asked me if she could keep it. I said only after a Vet check. So off to the vet's we went.

The vet couldn't believe the condition of the cat. It had oil all over it's back from climbing up into motors to stay warm. He pulled the skin out and said that she was totally dehydrated.
So Lucky II became our new fur family. They still view Jennifer as their mom and whenever Jennifer comes home they come running from downstairs to greet her at the door. They also follow her around and will wait outside the bathroom for her. Lucky II is a good cat, but that Moo (I call her "Cow") is not so good.

What is amazing about this cat is she has the looks of our cat "Spunky" but the personality of "Lucky".

She's the definite boss and will always make sure that Moo knows it.  She came in after we had Moochie so she doesn't boss Moochie as our original Lucky did with Princess.
Moochie was bigger than her - not by much now though.
