I love all of my family
very much and each of them is special in their own way and
special for a different reason.
They are all special
for not only who they are, but also for what they did for me
when I was a child and what it means to me now. Some are
special just because I now know what they did for me when I
was young.
My Uncle Paul was a very
special person and now he is special angel.
I'm
sure if you sit and think of all of your relatives, you can
think of only one of them as being the "recorder of events".
Uncle Paul loved the holidays and delighted in making sure that we believed in Santa Claus well past the age where we should have.
Every Christmas when we were young, he recorded Santa Claus going down the chimney and putting presents under the tree. My Aunt Simon as Santa Claus and
a good one at that. They would hoist her up on the roof and have her look like she was going into the chimney and placing presents in each of our homes. We went wid when we would later watch as it was recorded on 8mm tapes.
I don't want you to leave this section crying,
but I do want you to leave here and run to your family and
tell them how much they are loved. Do it now!! No one knows
how much time they have here on earth. There are no guarantees
or warranties stating how long we will be here.
So,
I've learned the hard way to always tell the people you care
about, just how much you care. Don't wait until they are gone.
Tell them now!!
Always make sure that you tell your
loved ones that you love them. Tell them often, and tell them
how you feel about them while they are still here. The
greatest tradegy is to wait to tell them and then find out
it's too late. I know. I missed telling my grandmothers and
Aunts and Uncles that I cared and loved them all dearly. I'm
sure that they knew it, but that isn't good enough for me now.
Now I really wish I had told them how very much I loved them
and how important they were in my life.
So, Uncle Paul, here is my goodbye and a letter telling you
just how much you meant to me
Dear Uncle
Paul:
As you sit in Heaven, watching down over all of
us, I want you to know that that I loved you very very much
and still think of you often today.
I'm sorry that I didn't
get to say "Goodbye" to you, but please know that you are in
my heart all the time. Doing this site and putting this letter
here is my Goodbye to you.
So Uncle
Paul, I know you can see this. I want you to know that I
appreciate the impact you had on my life.
Thank you for loving me. I want you to
know that I love you and I miss you.So wait by the gate for me
with the rest of our family. When my turn comes, I want you
there to greet me. I love you.
I love you Uncle Paul. All my love, Your
Neice,
