Though what happened between us
took place a long time ago
And the recollection may not be
foremost in your mind
I need communicate my regret for
my part in what occurred
I would do differently if I could
take it all back
However we cannot change the
past
I can only say that I am sorry
for my part
And I hope that you can forgive
me
For I am not the person I once
was
