Flowers all in bloom, a soft whispering breeze
Spring has released us from winters' deep freeze
New life all around, warming the heart to see such sights
The soft sound of a country stream
as it moves over the stones on cool summer nights
Children laughing playing, enjoying life without care
Secure in themselves, something precious and rare
Warm feelings inside, assured that someone looks out for us,
furnishing us with bliss
A place in our soul permeated with love, where ought goes amiss
Heaven on earth, brought about with our conception
Fabricated with attitudes, a creation of perception
At one with the universe and everything around
Bringing joy, a paradise we have found
When the morning sun greets us and we begin our day
It is up to us to take time to find out a way
We look upon events that shape our lives
We look for the good when discomfort arrives
Perception is a method we can use if we would
To see that if it is not nice, it still may be good
It is not with what we want, that we are freed
But through god, who provides what we need
