I sure wish I was a poet because
this is the one time in my life that I have so much to say and can't find
the words. Trust me, this isn't like me. Anyone who knows me - will tell
you that I'm never short of words at any time. I can always find words
to say. But what can you say to someone who has given so much to your life,
added so many pleasures and done so much for your growth.
I will try. It's hard enough in life to find your soulmate, but add an
illness to that and it limits your odds.
I guess God felt I deserved a break because he sent me the Warrior Poet
to ensure that all my dreams could come true.
This is dedicated to the Warrior Poet - the man who made a difference in
my life and to my life.

You knew I was afraid to love,
and you reached out anyway.

You knew I had scars from the past,
and you reached out anyway.
You knew what I needed,
and you reached out anyway.
You knew what I was feeling,

You knew I feared closeness,
and you reached out anyway.
You knew that it would be difficult,
and you reached out anyway.
You knew the many hardships ahead,
and you reached out anyway.
You knew I was ill and felt incomplete,
and you reached out anyway.
For all of who you are and all you do
and for reaching out
when no one else would...
I love you and always will.

you fell into my life,
but how easily you made my life complete.
You brought so much to my life,
added so much, cared so much,
that I will always cherish every
moment we have.
